Kristy Stell Ball

Kristy Stell Ball received her undergraduate degree in Communications from the University of Washington in 2003. She then attended both the Mississippi College School of Law and Seattle University School of Law. She received her Juris Doctor in 2007.

Ms. Ball is licensed to practice law in the courts of Washington State, the Federal District Courts of both Western and Eastern Washington, and in the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals. She is a member of the Washington State Bar Association, King County Bar Association, Washington Women Lawyers and the Washington Association for Justice (formerly Washington State Trial Lawyers Association).

Ms. Ball is also a member of the King County Bar Young Lawyers Division and has been a member of the Washington State Bar Young Lawyers Division. Ms. Ball was selected to serve as the Chair of the Washington State Bar Young Lawyers Division Member Outreach Committee from 2009-2011. Ms. Ball has also been an active member of the King County Bar Association Lawyer Referral Service Committee for several years and has been asked to be the Committee Chair in 2013-2014.

In addition, Ms. Ball is a member of the Junior League of Seattle. As a member of the Junior League of Seattle she has spent time as a volunteer with numerous community organizations including, Seattle Children’s Home, Pro-Use Produce, Rebuilding Together, and YouthCare.

In 2012, Ms. Ball attended the American Board of Trial Advocates Trial College at Harvard Law School and is recognized at a Trial College Fellow. She has also been chosen by other lawyers in Washington State as a Super Lawyer “Rising Star”.

Prior to law school graduation, Ms. Ball worked as a legal assistant and law clerk in law firms in both Jackson, Mississippi and Seattle, Washington. She has worked with Lish Whitson since October of 2007.

Since her graduation, Ms. Ball has worked on cases involving personal injury, medical negligence, employment, business disputes, health insurance, insurance bad faith, DUI, and property disputes. Ms. Ball has also spent much of her career to date helping people clear their criminal records.
